So I'm having a strange reaction to this second season.

I'm finding less to object to, you know?

Well, because it's, there's less politics in it.

Yeah.

There's less stuff to kind of grab a hold of.

Like watching this episode and watching some of the other episodes this season,

I kept praying like, oh, man, Sork, my man, like hit us with some lib shit.

Like, give me the most, like like pretentious newsroom season one like

I want to just be like smothered in your sanctimony sir please and I mean we don't have enough

Jeff Daniels on this season either he wasn't he was barely in this episode although there is one

pretty good scene with him which we should talk about yeah, why don't we just get into it?

Let's get into the Occupy Wall Street stuff.

Because I think this is definitely the richest material here.

It's the most interesting.

And structurally, and I think we can kill two birds with one stone here, because structurally,

there is a bit of an interesting device employed here because the Genoa tip, which was this, you know,

this story they're pursuing about a possible use of chemical weapons against civilians by

American Special Forces in Afghanistan. This was the story they were chasing in the previous

episode. Sorkin rather cleverly manages to link this plot line with the Occupy Wall Street one. Because

Shelley, who's the Occupy Wall Street organizer, who Neil has been acquainted with in earlier

episodes, she ends up finally getting on ACN. And Jeff Daniels just completely chews her out. He

like starts bombarding her with questions.
