Well, Will, we do have an interesting movie to discuss today, but I think we would be remiss if we didn't talk a little bit about the Kamala Trump debate and just kind of where things are at in the U.S. presidential election.

We saw David Cronenberg's do movie The Shrouds.

We had a fun little movie date, you know, had a good time at the Royal Alex Theater, seeing the North American premiere.

This movie, folks, it's a weird one.

It's weird even by the standards of Mr. Cronenberg.

And I don't know when this movie is going to come out.

I don't know if it even has North American distribution yet. So feel free to bookmark this

portion of the episode for later. But we will have a spoiler-free discussion of sort of first

impressions. I liked this movie quite a bit. It seems to be a bit divisive among those who have

seen it. But I think it's a very rich text.

Just on the basis of sheer novelty, not even taking into consideration any of the content of this

film or the issues it raises or the performances or anything else. There are just not many things

that are like this. It has a completely insane premise that Kronenberg takes very seriously and that,

you know, it takes a very special kind of artist to be able to execute and carry through to the

kind of conclusion that he does. So just on that level alone, like the film already has me. I'm having a great time.
