Luke, you've got an article here where we're going to examine a subject that I don't think

we've really given proper due diligence to. We're a culture and politics podcast, and it's been

a long time since we've talked about comedy, a certain kind of comedy. I have often suggested that we

watch, you know, a special, like featuring a Bill Maher or a Ricky Jervais or somebody on Netflix

who was maybe funny 25 years ago and isn't funny anymore. The sort of person who would just be a

Republican now, because people become Republicans when they get older,

except a whole generation of old people doesn't want to think of themselves as Trump supporters.

So they just become Biden people.

Anyway, we're not going to talk about a specific special because you always poo-poo my efforts to

talk about-

We'll do some more.

But yeah, those are not my favorite episodes.

I love them. I feel about those episodes the way you feel about politics, what a concept movies.

Yeah, fair enough. I mean, we've done, I don't know, maybe three or four episodes on kind of stand-up specials.

I mean, my favorite one was that Ricka Jervais one, and it was mostly because we didn't really talk about the special. We just like did a character study of

Rick of Jervais. But I know, the two of us recently sat down to watch 10 minutes of Stavros

Halkeos' what's it called, Fat Rascal. And I think we had to like pause it and get to work.

But like, you watch that, something that's actually funny. And it's just kind of like, well, we could just watch good comedy. You know what I mean?
