Because we've been off, I didn't want to talk a little bit about the Commission on Race

and Ethnic Disparities, which is published while we were away.

It didn't say that racism isn't a problem in this country,

but you had big reservations about it, didn't you, Dawn?

Yeah, I think there's a couple of things about the report.

It does deny a lot of well-known truths that we know

that all the other reports,

even the government's own race disparity audit report

previously done under Theresa May has said about systemic racism,

how it works, the effect it has, the burning injustices, if you remember all of that stuff.

I think the forward from Tony Seale was extremely troubling. He talked about the slave period

and there's a different story to be told.

He talked about an open door that you need to run through. So there was lots that's wrong with

the report and many people who have spent their whole life dedicated to racial equality was
