years, the next thing I'm about to describe happened. Seven years.

The husband did essentially all the cleaning in the house. The wife was a very successful, like, executive producer. She was gone. Sometimes six o'clock in the morning she'd leave the house. She'd come back home at like 7 p.m. Thursdays and Friday is 4 o'clock she would leave. She'd be back at like eight. She was never home. By the time she got home, she was sick and tired. She just

didn't want to do it. he took care of the daughter for seven

years by the way a lot of resentment around that cleaned everything else every once in a while she would

try to help with the dishes he hated the way she loaded the dishwasher like when he saw her

doing that it would cause pain and panic and anxiety and anger inside

him to just well up. Now, partially because he's the one that does it all the time, so he has

his way. He tried to talk to her about it once. And it led to a really, really big fight along

the lines of just fucking do it yourself, which obviously, and he's like, oh, yeah,

choice word for a woman. I do the dishes all the fucking time myself anyway. I guess you can't

even help me with this thing. So that's kind of how the first time they brought it up landed.

Seven years later, this comes up on this couch in my office. And it turns out for seven years, whenever she would do this, which would, you know, I don't know, maybe it's only a couple times a week. Maybe it's only a couple times a month. But dozens, if not hundreds of times between when that fight happened and now that they're sitting in my office. And what do you think happened every single time and she would try to load the dishwasher and he would get mad? What would they do? After that one big fight, they wouldn't talk about it anymore. Nobody said anything for seven years. And that thing I was describing, that's not an embellishment. Like, they would go to different rooms. He'd tv she'd do the thing whatever like for years

because there were all these little moments that just would piss one or the other off
