like alternaria leaf spots blights andabs, all sorts of diseases that can absolutely decimate your plants.

Okay, cool. So I think we should probably start off with, it was originally going to be alternaria, right Dan, but I think you broadened it out to just all sorts of pathogenic fungi and what's going on with those.

I do have a fun fact about alternaria though. So yes, it's a pathogenic fungi group, but they actually cause about 20% of agricultural spoilage here in the United States.

So 20% of everything we grow, one fifth, dies because we don't get to eat it. It spoils because of these fungi. No way.
