Well, well, well, this is a problem that despite not actually being a cat dad, I still

have to deal with in my garden.

Let's talk about it.

It's a question I get quite often, and it's how to get cats out of the garden, whether

they're yours or someone else's.

So first of all, let's talk about things that don't work at all, and these are actually

kind of funny.

I've seen this one kind of go around the Pinterest world, I guess.

Some of these things just, you have to wonder how they come to be.

This one is taking tons and tons of plastic forks and planting them upright in the garden

around your plants so that the cat isn't going to walk in and then do its business in the

garden bed.

The problem is, first of all, it's a really big waste of disposable plastic forks.

Second of all, cats are pretty nimble, they're going to get in there anyways.

So that's not a good idea.

Also, they're not UV resistant, so in about three months, they're going to break down

and they'll just become very brittle and you have tiny bits of plastic in your garden.

Not a really good idea.

There is another thing that a lot of people would recommend called the Scarity Cat Plant,

Blayus Kanina, Kanina.

It is said to repel cats with its scent, but it doesn't really do it.

It kind of smells like a skunk.
