I am preaching about being a bold witness for Jesus. In the book of Acts,

when the Holy Spirit came upon them, one of the signs that the Holy Spirit is active in your life

is being a bold witness for God. So we're going to study that today, talking about having a conviction,

courage, and an urgency. Let let's jump into today's message

acts chapter 4 verse 31 we're talking today we've been in this idea out of the book of acts about

the early church when the church first started and And last Sunday, we talked about the power of

the Holy Spirit. I just want to kind of stay in that stream, stay in that vein, and talk to you

about one of the results or one of the signs that the Holy Spirit is working in your life.

When I say that, if you don't know who the Holy Spirit is, the Holy Spirit is working in your life. When I say that if you don't know who the

Holy Spirit is, the Holy Spirit is the beautiful third person of the Trinity. So we believe in Zoe

in the Father, we believe in the Son, and we believe in the Holy Spirit. One of the evidence

that the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus, is working in your life, is boldness.

And I like this, I like this idea because I'm loud.

So I just like that idea that we can be bold and be Christians.

But one of the evidence of the Holy Spirit is that he gives

you a spirit that is bold. In fact, one of my favorite verses of the book of 2 Timothy chapter 1 says

God has not given you a spirit of timidity or other translations would say a spirit of fear so god if he didn't give us a

spirit of fear what did he give us he gave us a spirit of power and love and sound mind

god has not given us a spirit of fear now just because i don't have a spirit of fear does not mean I can watch scary films.
