Hello and welcome to this very unfortunate episode of Who Killed.

I am your host, Bill Huffman, and this is a slow burn media,

Evergreen Podcasts, and Killer Podcasts production. We bring this episode with a heavy heart as we see our friends in Maine going through what a lot of communities across the country

have been going through in the last

couple decades, and that is dealing with a mass shooter. Currently, that mass shooter is on the loose.

He has won Robert Card. By the time this airs, we hope that he has been caught. But again,

this is what we are dealing with in 2023 America.

So this is something that unfortunately our children are raised amongst and it is very

frustrating to see no action ever being taken other than thoughts and prayers.

I'm not saying I have any solutions.

All I'm saying is these things continue to happen and your thoughts and prayers don't solve any of these problems just so you know.

And it's really callous when you just do that because we all have thoughts and prayers for these families.

And if you use that as a catch-all for all of these individual shootings,

you're basically just repeating the same old BS that you've been for the past few years.

So I highly recommend you find a new form of, I don't know, being, gosh, what's a good word for this, empathetic to the families that have been

slaughtered due to a high profile long gun that you don't want to call an AR-15 anymore, but

it's an AR-15 that's causing these problems. So, you know, it doesn't take

a genius to figure out what's going on. And if anybody was really interested in making these

things go away, they would. It's sort of similar to the cell phone companies and how they

could stop spam callers, but they just don't. So this is one of those

things where we need to stand up. And I know there are a lot of people that don't believe that
