A new cabinet pick just announced on Lisa Brady, Fox News. President-elect Trump nominating Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be Health and Human Services Secretary. That would put the longtime vaccine skeptic in charge of the federal agency that oversees vaccine, drug, and food safety, in addition to medical research and Medicare and Medicaid. Texas Republican

congressmanship Roy calls Kennedy a disruptor and says that's what's needed. We need to root out

the bureaucracy here, beat back the insurance companies, the pharma companies, the big hospital

corporations that are rolling over the little guys. We need to root out all the corruption in this

town, stop the mandates, free people up so they can

have health savings accounts and go to the doctors of their choice rather than being told who to go

get their health care from. Kennedy ran for president as a Democrat, then independent, before backing

Trump, who says Kennedy will play a big role in helping to ensure everybody will be protected

from things he says have contributed to a health crisis,

including chemicals, pollutants, and food additives. He's one of the nominees who could face the

most scrutiny at Senate confirmation hearings, along with the Attorney General nominee, Matt Gates.

A Senate confirmation for now former Congressman Matt Gates could be an uphill climb to get the

necessary 50 votes to become

attorney general. Republican Senator Mike Rounds of South Dakota is one of those not committing

to approving Gates. We always allow the president to have the benefit of the doubt, but we still

have to do our role in terms of due diligence. Some Democrats believe Gates is unqualified for the job,

Gates resigned after the nomination, which ends an ethics committee probe of allegations he denies,

including sexual misconduct. But the Democratic chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee wants
