Hello and welcome to the Thinking Fellows podcast. My name is Caleb Keith, and today I am joined by

Adam Francisco and Bruce Hillman. I want to give an extra thank you and shout out to everybody

who helped support the 1517 podcast network during our June podcast network fundraiser. It was actually quite incredible.

We tried to set a goal that in all honesty, I thought was going to be too high for us to hit

in that month, sort of given some of our history and expectations for how many people we

can reach live in that four-week period. And it was really amazing

to see the response. Not only did we hit the $150,000 goal, we actually raised $164,000 during that

fundraiser, which is just absolutely incredible and a huge boost to the network and its ability

to continue to produce content to expand

the ways that we share that content and the podcasts with listeners and hopefully viewers

in the future for many of our shows.

And I just want to say thank you to everybody who helped us reach that goal.

We had over 390 unique donors and over half of those

were people who gave to the podcast network for the first time. So I want to say thank you to a lot of

the new listeners who have joined in support of the network. That is really fantastic.

So how many shows do we have now? Do you know?

We've got 21 shows when you look at like sort of what's active or actively archived and stuff like that.

So it's really incredible.

There's, you know, lots of content every day.

And we definitely, some people left notes and messages to, which we're incredibly encouraging.

And we're working on compiling all that stuff now to get sort of an idea and share it with the podcasters and people at 1517 so that they see the impact that their, you know,

podcasting has on people.
