That is the sound of a true Moto Mami. The young Spanish vocalist

and global music sensation Rosalia are guest this week on all Latino.

And Anna just what is a Moto Mami?

Oh Felix, how does one explain such a vibe?

Honestly, I think going into my interview with Rosalia, I'm not sure I fully knew what a Moto Mami was,

but she was giving such Moto Mami energy in this interview.

I walked away feeling Moto Mami. Lucky for you and maybe me and all of our listeners at home,

I think you can feel some of that energy in our conversation.

She gave me a sense of her Moto Mami perspective on the world, music and life.

Rosalia is part of a very short list of musicians from Spain who have artfully and successfully

combined the richness of Spanish music of all kinds with jazz and pop music from this country,

such as one of Rosalia's heroes, the vocalist Martidio, who makes jazz and Spanish traditional cancun

at the start of the 2000s.

You know, so funny that you mentioned that Felix because in our conversation,

she actually calls Martidio the original Moto Mami.

Imagine if Rosalia called you the original Moto Mami Felix.

Martidio deserves it, definitely.

If you think about it with Rosalia since day one, she's been kind of working that energy, right?

She's so seamlessly played with genre, matching flamenco and pop and now Bachata and Briguetón.
