Summary

This week I sit down with Elise Orozco from Raising Rock for a conversation that feels deeply personal and incredibly timely. We share remarkably similar stories of stepping away from ambition, hustle, and outside success in exchange for something we discovered mattered far more: presence.

Elise opens up about leaving a high-level corporate career after realizing that while she was succeeding professionally, her family was often receiving the exhausted leftovers of what remained. What follows is an honest conversation about motherhood, identity, slowing down, surrender, and learning to embrace God's priorities instead of culture's expectations.

gamut on topics. We talked about media. We talked about what our kids are influenced by and how we're having conversations

0:55.8

with them about it. We talked about our own hearts and our own dispositions, our priorities.

1:01.1

It's really just a big conversation about motherhood and how we move closer to being the

something in this episode for you.

1:43.7

We're basically best

1:45.2

friends. So 100%. And what I love is we have a lot of crossover. We have a lot in common to

1:52.5

talk about. Some of it we touched on on your show, but this is my people. And so we're going to do it

1:57.8

again and also kind of go some other places with it. And so you are

2:03.1

the voice and founder behind Raising Rock, which I have to give a little shout out. My kids,

2:10.0

2:20.6

and they are just love it. And it's also a great story. You are the author of a book. You've just,
