Well, if you've been listening for a long time, you've heard me say this a few times,

but it begs repeating today.

Back in 2020, I had said this on the show, and God had given me this picture.

He speaks to me often in word pictures.

And I had this sense around 2020, and I said it on the show, it's time to form prayer networks like never before. And the word picture he gave me was of this electric power grid, that clusters of people connected to other clusters of people that would light up the whole nation, that as we cultivate intimacy with God and with each other. I mean, true, authentic intimacy and a sincere heart to seek after the heart of God.

And then bringing our very real lives before a very real God, he would just light us ablaze.

And we would see a movement of God like never before. We would see answers to prayer,

breakthroughs in the hardest

places, God lighting up the world through his saints. And as you know, if you listen often enough,

prayer is just one of my favorite topics. And let me just tell you, friend, do we have a show for you

today? Pastor Lee Cummings joins me today to talk about his book, Give No Rest. What about that for

a title? Subtitle is a renewed commitment to pursue

God's presence and prayer and worship in the American church. And this kind of reminds me of

who is, oh my word, I'm drawing a blank. Oh, my goodness, it was a revival fire book that was so amazing.

Anyway, this is a wake-up call for us to be ignited in prayer.
