Lastly, in terms of players trending down, I have to put Tyquan Thornton on this list.

To me, both Kashan Booty and Pop Douglas have done more than Thornton in 11 on 11 periods.

I have not noticed him as a deep threat when they've done their middle of the field work.

They've tried to use him occasionally as a red zone threat.

He does have some length, even though he's very thin, you know,

six foot two, six foot three, decent size target in there should be able to use him.

Hasn't worked out particularly with Mac Jones. You know, every once in a while does he show up with the play? When it's

two's on twos, he does. But in terms of the physical skill set and the consistency being a productive

and reliable player out there, I have not seen it from Taekwon Thornton. Again, to me, Pop Douglas and Kashon Booty have shown a little bit more. Now, does that mean that those two should make the 53-man roster over Thornton? No, I'm not going there yet. And I wrote about this on NBC SportsBoss.com for our mailbag. You can't give up on Thornton just yet because of that physical skill set that he has.

And if it clicks, he gives you something that nobody else really does.

However, I would be very reluctant to part ways with or expose on waivers either Pop Douglas or Kashon Booty.

Because to me, right now, from what we've seen these last two or three weeks,

they've done more than Thornton has.

And they've been on the field.

And they've been, I would say, relatively consistent.

It's almost a daily thing for one of those two rookies or both

to make a play that stands out, that opens your eyes. And I can't say the same has been true

about Thornton.
