I am Chris Clark from Chiefs Digest, and we are going to talk about a contract proposal that went out to Dac Prescott on Monday.

This is going to affect Patrick Mahomes. This is your chief's new story of the day.

And what happened was he got an offer from the Dallas

Cowboys we don't know all the specifics right now but what we do know is that

they offered him on average 3333 million a year with $105 million guaranteed.

The question becomes what is guaranteed over the long term and what is going to be guaranteed just in you know if it's

going to be subject to injury guarantees and and all of that we do not have that

information right now but they're looking at a five-year deal for

Dac Proscot, an average of $33 million per year.

The bigger question when this comes to Kansas City and the reason this is a new story.

Honestly, I don't know that Patrick Mahomes is going to be signing a contract this

off season.

It is possible that Kansas City is going to get something done with him, but it is something

that we're going to have to wait and see on.

At this point, the bigger question and this is what it's going to all come down to,

does the new CBA get done?

If the new CBA gets done, maybe Patrick Mahomes gets a new deal.

And we will talk about that here in a moment, because there are some things to get into on

that specifically, and some news updates there.
