This is a Saddleback Church podcast.

So I don't know if you realize it or not, but you chose a great weekend to be here at Saddleback

Church because at all of our campuses, we're kicking off this immerse challenge, where over

the next several weeks we will very intentionally be reading the Bible together as a church family.

Now, you might remember this story from the Gospels, where there was a leper, a man that had leprosy,

and he came to Jesus, and he says, Jesus, if you are willing, you can make me clean.

So here's a man that was completely isolated from his family.

He was an outcast from society.

And he comes to Jesus with this request.

If you're willing, you can make me clean.

And Jesus looks this man in the face,

and he says three words that will change the rest of his life.

He says, I am willing.

Every time I read that story, I think to myself, Jesus, what are you willing to do that I've just failed to ask you for? I wonder what Jesus would be willing to do in your life or in your family that you haven't asked him for yet.

I wonder what Jesus would be willing to do for our church that we need to ask him for.

Because here's the thing, I think God is so much more willing to bless us and to do things on our behalf than we have the courage

and the boldness to ask. I believe that this year could be a year of incredible breakthrough

for you personally, individually, that God would want that for you. I believe that God might

want to do something in our church this year that supersedes any of our

imaginations that pour out his spirit on us in a fresh in a new way. And are we willing to ask for that,

to believe for that? Are we ready to receive it? Historically, there have been moments when God

has showed up on the scene in such a supernatural way that the
