The Biden administration has proposed new emission standards designed to turbocharge

the push toward electric vehicles.

The goal that within 10 years, two-thirds of all new passenger cars and a quarter of heavy

trucks sold in the U.S. will be electric.

EPA Administrator Michael Regan, speaking last Wednesday, said this will dramatically reduce

greenhouse gases that cause climate change.
