0:14.3	I recently had to drive back and forth to Winner Park Colorado for an event that we were
0:18.7	doing there, and Winner Park is actually only about 42 miles as the crow flies, so it shouldn't
0:24.0	take that long.
0:25.0	It should take about 42 minutes to get there on a highway.
0:26.7	The only problem is in Colorado, we have these really big things in the way called the
0:30.4	Rocky Mountains, massive 13,000 foot mountains, and it just takes a lot longer as you're navigating
0:36.9	around the mountain, going up the mountain and over the mountain, you have all these switch
0:40.7	backs going back and forth, back and forth on the highway, going up the mountain, then
0:44.5	you go over the past, then you come down the other side and you have all these switch backs
0:47.6	back and forth on the way down, this all these winding roads, it just takes a long time.
0:52.4	So as I was going back and forth, it took 90 minutes each way.
0:55.7	I'd go up there for the event, I had to come back home for something we had here at home,
0:58.4	then go back up for the event and then back home again, 90 minute drives, it just doubled
1:02.4	the time.
1:04.0	I think this is a great analogy for our spiritual lives that we may be faithful and we love
1:09.5	Jesus, and you know, we're not going to do anything really horrible, but it takes us
1:15.0	a long time sometimes to just love him and serve him and do his will.
1:21.4	It takes a long time for us to grow in a holiness.
1:24.1	It takes a lot longer than it should to really follow Jesus as a disciple would.
1:29.8	We have all these blockages, these things in our hearts that weigh us down, that keep
1:34.8	us from running after him with all our heart and loving the people in our lives, blockages
