Even if you have a full weekend planned, you will likely have some downtime.

Having low-key but fun activities ready means you will be more likely to enjoy this time,

rather than frittering it away on things you don't really care about.

So I track my time and I have for years, including my weekend time.

I have learned over the years that even if there is a lot going on

during any given weekend, I will no doubt have some downtime. Maybe it's an hour in between kid

activities, or it's time at night before bed. If I don't have anything I am particularly interested to do with this time,

I will probably spend it looking at Instagram.

But, if I have a good book, I will read that book.

If I have a puzzle going, I will take a few minutes in between activities to put some pieces

together in that puzzle.

I enjoy books and puzzles a lot more than scrolling around on social media.

So, if I want to enjoy my weekend downtime, best to have a book and a puzzle going.
