In this episode, we are back for round two with Loren De La Cruz, or you may know her as @innatefunctionalnutrition on Instagram to expand on our last episode on preconception nutrition and dig more into nutrition for pregnancy. Loren is a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Root Cause Protocol Consultant, and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner that specializes in preconception nutrition. Her mission is to empower women with the tools and the knowledge they need to regulate their cycles, balance their hormones, heal their metabolism, optimize their fertility and have a thriving pregnancy.
There’s a lot of fear around nutrition and pregnancy.
It seems like a woman will take all of these steps to eat more nutrient-dense foods, including things like organ meats, shellfish, maybe raw dairy, and optimize their supplements, then they get pregnant, and everything goes out the window. My goal with this episode is to help remove the fear around nutrition during pregnancy, especially certain foods and supplements.
