Hi Stella, so we have another question here which is short and sweet it says I have the

kind of child who will do the opposite if I ask her to do something so how do I soften her defenses so she'll open her mind to

different ideas than hers? One example is that I want to watch the film No Way Back

on Family Movie Night, but I'm worried that she's simply going to push back or worse

shut herself in tighter on this topic. I think this is a really astute question and some people just are like that.

You ask them to do A and they'll do B and if this parent has figured that out about that kid,

I wouldn't underestimate it.

I really wouldn't. I wouldn't. I would take that piece of goal that you know about your

child and work around it. you know what I mean?

Because it's very important that we work with the child

in front of us rather than the child we hope there will be.
