ADVERTS DISCLAIMER:

This podcast has ads at the start of every episode. However never in the middle of a story or at the end.

Please be assured all ad blocks have been applied to ensure no over 18 or inappropriate ads are played.

However, there may be the odd occasion where an advert slips through the net because the company submitting them submits them under a category that is not correct. This happens very rarely and I do my upmost to stop this happening.

If this happens, please email me at shortstoriesforkids@gmail.com and let me know the following information: What the ad was for? What state you live in? And what episode you heard it on and I will immediately contact Spreaker to block the ad.

I take this very seriously and I really appreciate your support and co-operation.

As creators, we want your child’s experience to be a pleasurable one. Running adverts is necessary to allow us to operate, but please do consider the premium subscription service as an alternative – it’s ad free.

Luma the Unicorn had always believed the magic rainbow would always be there in the sky.

0:13.2

But because it was magic, it didn't show up after a storm the way puddles did, or the

way wet leaves dripped their last cold drops.

0:24.6

No, magic rainbows arrived like something planned, like a secret message painted across the sky.

0:31.6

A bright, shining path made of color arched from one end of the world to the other. Luma was always looking for a magic

The flowers smelt like honey and sunshine.

And the trees at the edge of the meadow leaned in close, always whispering in the breeze. She had friends, too, a sleepy old rabbit

who liked to sit on warm rocks and sigh dramatically, a bluebird that gave weather reports,

1:32.5

One morning, Luma stood at the edge of the meadow, staring toward the distant hills.

1:39.2

The sun was climbing, the stream glittered, the world was beautiful. She sighed.

1:46.8

Is this all there is? she murmured. Is this what Forever feels like? The rabbit twitched an ear.

1:54.6

Forever usually involves a nap, it said. I don't mean today, Luma replied. I mean every day. The bluebird fluttered down beside her.

2:05.7

It will rain tomorrow, it announced proudly. To hear the rest of this story and our entire
