I am a small business owner and native New Yorker.

A few years ago I hired someone named Paula.

Paula is a married gay woman in her early 30s.

She grew up in California, the daughter of a preacher.

But she later became an atheist.

Though since discovering the joy of Qunan, she has taken to reading the Bible for insight

and to discover hidden meanings.

These are recovering alcoholic, college dropout, and was left wing at the time we started

working together.

She also enjoys tarot, card reading as a side job.

Paula and I worked very well together and we shared some similar views.

We loved talking conspiracies, though I guess I didn't really know what a conspiracy theory

was until Paula went down the rabbit hole.

I thought a conspiracy theory was the fact that Big Pharma influenced government policy.

Ha!

Here it go, Paula started ranting about something I had never heard of called Pizzagate.

She sent me a link to a video she claimed would clearly explain and prove it.

My husband and I watched some of the video and determined that it was obviously absurd.

When Paula asked me about it later, I said, this is amazing.

It's like, hey did you read my book?

Did you read my, yeah, yeah, no, I did.
