Could you suggest some questions for us and other parents to pose or some topics to bring up with our child's therapist or psychologist. My husband and I have never met or spoken with this

therapist who has been working with our 21 year old FTM child for a year in another state, and we would like to vet her.

We've recently told our daughter that going forward we expect to be included on a joint session every few months

so that we may be included in her care and understand how she's being treated.

We pay for all her therapy out of pocket. We assume this therapist is affirming based on comments from her daughter,

but we do not know. Our daughter has

recently told us that I, her mother, am a huge topic in her sessions which take

place via Zoom and our daughter often gets so upset that she leaves the session early by closing the laptop.
