What's up, guys? Welcome back to Sunday Sports Club podcast, a podcast all about sports told by a woman.

0:09.2

And that woman is me. Hi, guys. I'm Alison Cooch. Welcome back to the podcast. Today we have on a very

0:14.4

special guest, Megan O'Levy. She is eight weeks postpartum. And I love having moms on the show, moms in the sports

0:28.0

world specifically because I feel like we have a lot in common and there's so much

0:32.1

that we can relate on. So you've been on maternity leave for the past three months.

0:36.7

How is that then? Are you sleeping?

0:39.0

Right. I mean, as much as I can, he's a great sleeper at night. He doesn't love naps. So I'll take the

0:47.8

nighttime sleep, though. Absolutely. He's in the phase where he's only really getting up once or twice

0:52.8

a night. So like, again, love it.

because he's just, like, grunting and, like, making these crazy noises the whole night, but he's dead

1:12.9

asleep. I'm not because I'm just like, why is he making these noises? So, you know, that's kind of an

1:19.0

adjustment. And once you realize like, okay, he's really sleeping, this is just like a weird newborn

1:22.7

thing they do. I feel like I've slept a little better, but otherwise, like maternity leave has been

1:28.9

amazing, but it's, I think until you live it, you think like, oh, how hard can it really be?

1:35.2

And then you're like, oh, no, that's the hardest thing I've ever done.

1:38.6

And like, God bless every mother ever, especially moms who have more than one kid.

1:43.4

Like, this is, we just have a newborn.

1:45.8

Yes. I don't, I don't know how anyone else functions. This is our only responsibility and

1:51.5

like, I'm terrified. Yes. We're bringing it out. Yeah, the idea of multiples is a little scary,
