I'm Dan Schneier, joined as those my co-host, Nick Falado.

We've got hours at this point until the Giants open up their season, week one, at home, Sunday night football against the Dallas Cowboys.

And so with that in mind, we wanted to do something we haven't done yet this preseason. And the reason we haven't is not because of this. But it is funny to say, after nailing it last year, as I predicted nine wins and Nick, I think did as well, it's hard to top that when you get it exactly right. Obviously, we didn't get exactly right.

I think I said 9 and 8, and they were 9, 7, and 1, but almost exactly right. It's hard to do it again, but we're going to try. So today's podcast is going to be a game-by-game prediction from Nick and I, each of our predictions. Then we're going to give our final thoughts heading into the week one, and those will be thoughts about the Cowboys game and the matchup, but also about the season.

And then finally, we're going to wrap up with some fun with some

fun things that you might got you guys might enjoy as well so without any further ado nick let's dive

right into this thing let's talk week one um give me your prediction of what's going to happen in week one

i'm not as confident as some on Twitter are, but I think the stars are aligning.

If you are the team that we believe they can be with all the additions that they made,

we know development and the trajectory of that is not always ascending,

but I think the Giants are on the up and up.

Primetime television, Sunday night football,

you just paid your quarterback, you retained your running back,

you brought players back like Darius Slayton.

I think the New York Giants are going to win this football game narrowly.

That's where I'm at.

I think it's going to be a 24 to 21 type of game, maybe a 23 to 20 with some field goals.

The team that best protects and rushes the passer usually wins.
