but then again isn't about an organization, an enterprise, a very successful company out of China called Tencent,

all one, Tencent.

U.S. adds Tencent C-A-TL to a list of Chinese firms allegedly aiding Beijing's military.

This is Reuters reporting.

The U.S. Defense Department said on these last hours, it has added Chinese giant

Tencent Holdings and battery maker CATL to a list of companies that says work with China's military

in a move set to escalate U.S.-China tensions.

Brandon, I come to you because Tencent has been a name I've heard for years.

This is not TikTok.

This is an all-purpose company, something like Amazon together with a bank.

It has other magic enterprises.

But connected to the military is hardly a surprise.

Is this something new out of the Defense Department or under the late Biden

administration? Have they gotten more particular than they used to be? Good day to you.

Well, hello, and thank you for having me and hello Gordon. This is definitely a bold move by an

administration that has about what two weeks or 12 days left in power.

I suspect this is being done to kind of set up a possible, this might have been done with

Trump in mind. I don't know. But ultimately, 10 cent, the key takeaway is that it is in fact

a military civil fusion project.
