and we're ready to celebrate. Bob what has happened that's

worthy popping a champagne court? Good evening to you. It's good news

now but I'm not sure I'm ready to pop in a champagne if we have to

hold back a little bit but new glen which is the orbital rocket that Jeff

Bezos's company Blue Origin has been developing for more than a decade and is four years behind schedule.

And for about five years nothing seemed to be happening until about two years ago when Bezos replaced to the CEO of Blue Origin.

It appears that New Glen is moving really, the company Blue Origin is moving aggressively

to launch New Glen as planned on October 13,

2024 on its very first launch.

And we have a variety of pieces of news, but the one that I have today is that the the

landing platform the floating landing platform that they hope to use for New

Glenn's first stage to land on it like

SpaceX the Falcon 9 first stages land on a barge in the ocean. It has

arrived at Port Canaveral. It's completed and finished and it's ready to go.

This means they are almost certainly going to attempt a first stage landing on this

landing platform when they do this first launch and that it's here indicates

that once again they're getting close there were a lot of indications that

they're putting the rocket together right now in preparation for launch.

And they've done a bunch of a series of launch pad, procedure tests and fueling tests to prepare for that.
