Good evening, John. The Third Plen is the third plenary session of the 20th National Congress, Central Committee of the Communist Party.

It is held once every five years and the third plenum is traditionally devoted to economic matters.

The most famous third plenum was the one in 1978 when Deng Xiaoping ditched Maoism and moved to his policy of
