This is Holy Family School of Faith.

So welcome to our Rosary meditation. We are in Beth Paham.

We are at the Shepherds Fields.

We're on that holy night when Jesus was born,

the angels appeared to the Shepherds and told them

of the great tidings, the good news of the birth of the Savior and told them where

to find Jesus.

And so here we are gathered to pray the joyful mysteries.

So let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let's call the mind all those we've promised to pray for.

First joyful mystery of the enunciation. The meditation comes from Saint

Maria Escrava. He wants to put us in the story. He writes,

Don't forget, my friend, that we are children.

The lady of the sweet name Mary is absorbed in prayer.

You in that house can be whatever you wish.

A friend, a servant, an onlooker, a neighbor.

For the moment I don't dare to be anything.

I hide behind you, and full of awe, I watch what's happening. The archangel delivers his message. But how can this

come about since I am a virgin? Our mother's voice reminds me by contrast of all the impurities of men mine too.

And then how I hate those low mean things of the earth.
