Summary

In the Bible, there is a clear distinction between the old covenant before the cross, and the new covenant after the cross. Under the old covenant, the children of Israel would only receive God’s blessings if they perfectly obeyed His commandments. By comparison, under the new covenant, we are blessed because we are in Christ Jesus. Righteousness is a gift we receive by faith in Him. The cross changed everything for us, including how we pray.

0:46.1	we are to pray for those who are in authority. Now we got a lot of work to do.
0:56.8	Because if all everybody would have showed up at like they would have showed up we got a lot of work to do. There's a lot of work to do
1:01.2	as far as bringing this nation together there was a lot of work to do as far as bringing this nation together.
1:04.0	There was a whole lot of
1:06.9	unnecessary emotional stuff that took place that's uncalled for that represents the division and the separation and the
1:16.7	hatred and the racism in this nation and now it's time for the church to rise up and to do what God's ended to do.
1:28.2	But let me make it very plain to you.
1:31.5	That is the President of the United States or will be in January.
1:35.0	We will pray for him every service we have.
1:39.0	We will respect him every time.
1:42.0	We will not talk ugly about him if we see something
1:45.3	going wrong we will plead the blood of Jesus we will lift him up because the Bible
1:50.6	says that God holds the heart of the king in his hand,
1:53.4	amen.
