let's go to the book of Matthew chapter six this is really going to be good

I'm excited about this tonight Matthew chapter six we're we're taking the time

on Wednesday nights to continue to talk about prayer because I think it's important that we address a lot of the

religious items that people attach to our prayer life and when you begin to understand really how to commune with God

you're going to want to do it more and more and more. You know I want to remind you that

when we look at prayer we define prayer as you know a

communion with God not just communicating but communing with God and and your communion with God should be

Something that's constant do not allow yourself to reduce your time spent with God down to one hour or 10 minutes. I mean

imagine spending time with your husband or wife and you only you only communicate and

commune with them one hour a day and for the rest of the day you don't have anything

to say. Well that's reducing that relationship down and I want us to begin to approach the father as a person

and not at you know not some religious symbol, but he's real and he's a person.

And he doesn't want the relationship reduced to five minutes, an hour,

or this set- time, communion with God should be constant.

Now I want to start in the book of Matthew Chapter 6 and let's review some things right quick. Matthew 6 verse 9 and I'll read

verses 9 through 13 he says after this manner therefore pray ye our father which art

in heaven hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom

come, thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debtors as we forgive our debtors our debts as we forgive our debtors and lead us not in the temptation
