and generosity, we are also entering the Holy Presence of God.

I would invite you to turn in your Bible to Luke

Chapter 11, Luke chapter 11, verse 1. And it came about that while he was praying in a certain place,

after he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, Lord, teach us to pray, just as John

also taught his disciples.

He said to them, when you pray, say, Father, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, give us each day our daily bread, and forgive us our sins,

for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us, and lead us not into temptation.

A little bit of background on what's going on in this context. The reality

of personal access to God himself on an intimate level was somewhat convoluted among the
