Summary

In this special solo episode of Dear Future Wifey, Laterras Whitfield interviews himself while his co-host and bride, Ashley, is in Los Angeles working the GRAMMYs and the Super Bowl.

With vulnerability and gratitude, Laterras reflects on the first three months of marriage, sharing what has surprised him, stretched him, and strengthened their union. From newlywed adjustments to spiritual growth, he opens up about what this new season has truly been like behind the scenes.

For the first time ever, Laterras also shares never-before-seen footage from his proposal, giving viewers an intimate look at the moment that changed everything.

But this episode isn’t just about marriage—it’s about the journey to it. Laterras offers heartfelt encouragement to those who are still waiting on their spouse, reminding them that waiting is not punishment—it’s preparation. He speaks directly to the singles who have prayed, hoped, and trusted God through seasons of delay.

This episode is reflective, inspiring, and deeply personal—a reminder that love is worth the wait, and when the promise arrives, it will have been worth every process.
