Hello, my friends. It is good to be back with you for another pray together episode.

You know this week as I've been thinking about the act of prayer.

There's a whole lot about it that we don't understand fully that is kind of mysterious to us

in terms of a sovereign God actually somehow wanting us to be involved in requesting things from him

that he will then do on planet earth.

I don't understand all the details but I do understand this.

We have an Almighty God who has given us permission to come to him requesting things that are on our hearts.

He has also given us authority through his son Jesus Christ who has opened away in spite of our sinfulness

for us to come and petition the God of heaven and earth.

And he tells us to come boldly to his throne of grace.

Think about that friends.

This is the throne we come to to receive grace to help us in our time of need.

And so that's what we're doing as we pray for these requests today.
