ends of the Earth, you know the intricacies of everything that goes on,

whether that is in the physical world, in our inner being, in the relationships that we are engaged in, in even the

sicknesses of our of our bodies, Lord, you know every detail.

And we come to you as children, very incapable, very much in need, very much

at the whim and the mercy of these things that come into our lives were it not for you.

And so we bow before you, Lord.

We ask you to be our advocate, be the one who comes alongside us in strength and in power.

And may our faith in Jesus Christ

and his sacrificial death on the cross in our behalf

empower our prayers.

May your Holy Spirit give us the unction to pray as we ought, Lord. We begin by

praying for our sister Monica, who is asking us to pray for her regarding her health. She had some

tests done this week and she's trying to lean on you
