Lord, help us pray today.

Help us pray effectively, help us pray wisely. Help us pray in light of the facts we've received for the many who have requested prayer, but also Lord according to your will lead us to pray so that we are in alignment with what you are doing in these circumstances.

And we could see your work manifest through our prayers.

Lord, do the miracle, the miracle of working out answers according to prayer.

We don't understand how it all works with a sovereign God and a good God, but Lord we are resting in you.

We begin today Lord by praying for our sister Nantesia who writes to us from the United States.

She's asking us to pray for her husband,

who is being unfaithful in their marriage,

and he has stepped away from his family

and is into the hands of the enemy. So Lord we are asking you to bring

deep conviction to this man's heart to break his spirit over this grievous

sin. He has forsaken the covenant, he's made with his wife, he's forsaken

his obligations to his family, and Lord, I know that your divine judgment comes upon such things.
