Hello Morning Mindsette family. Thanks so much for joining me for another

Pray Together episode. You know I don't know about you but I sometimes feel

unworthy to come to God in prayer, to come and ask for anything. But the beauty of the Christian faith is that we

don't have to be worthy. We don't have to live up to some standard in order to

deserve coming to the throne of grace.

We get to come and make our requests no matter our condition at the present moment because our faith is in Jesus Christ. You see Jesus has placed his life

on the line for us and has taken the price, the penalty, the punishment for our sin in our place and given us his righteousness in exchange.

And the writer of Hebrew tells us that we can now come boldly to the throne of grace to receive help and mercy

in our time of need and that is what we need to do in these Pray Together episodes so I hope

that that's encouraging to you that you can join me in prayer today

with confidence based on what Jesus has done. It's not based on your worthiness or your good works.

I mean you may be trapped in some sort of sin pattern you maybe have some recent

sin that you've committed that you feel you're unworthy but fight those feelings

and tell yourself the truth Jesus is the reason you can come and pray confidently and we're going to pray confidently on behalf of many many listeners today.

We have a lot of prayer requests and I want to request that you join me just by repeating these requests in your own heart and asking the

Lord to intervene and do his great work in these situations. Now if you have a

request that you would like to submit I'll tell you at the end of the episode how you can do that let's pray together

Father we come to you confidently because of Jesus.

It's not on our merit, it's not on our works,

that we come and stand before you confidently.

We rest in Jesus' merit to bring us to your throne, and we trust that he is interceding for us and that the

Holy Spirit is interceding for us.
