We have quite a number of requests and we are just going to pray together right through the requests that have been submitted. I appreciate that you

want to pray for the needs of other believers all around the world. We have people

responding from all over with these requests so I know that they appreciate it. I know that the Lord

appreciates it. He is thankful when his people care enough about each other to

pray for the needs that they hear of. And so we are going to just dig right him. We have a

Lord, we want to praise your name this morning as we begin, because you are the sovereign

king of the universe.

Many of the things that come into our lives, though they be scary or difficult or even

grueling at times and painful. We know that you have brought into our life for

good, not just for good in a general sense, but for our good.

You tell us that in Romans 828 and verses like that that say,

God works all things together for the good of those who love him, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Those verses can feel trite at times. They can feel like just words at times when we are going through the difficult time.

But Lord, we affirm in our hearts right now by faith that those words are not trite.

They are not just feel good verses.

They are truth.

You are working behind the scenes in ways we could never dream of,
