Hey friends, it's good to be with you again for another pray together episode.

I want to start out today by encouraging our hearts with Psalm 147.

These are some truths that is helpful to have in mind as we come to the Lord in prayer.

Just remembering who he is, who it is that we're asking to help in our time of need.

Psalm 147 says, it is good to sing praises to our God.

It is pleasant and a song of praise is fitting.

The Lord builds up Jerusalem.

He gathers the outcasts of Israel.

Now that last phrase is specifically aimed at God's people of Israel back in the Old

Testament day.

Now God's people is the church.

And that includes Jew and Gentile who profess faith in Christ.

So that's a promise for us.

He builds us up and he gathers in the outcast.

Verse three, he heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.

We're going to hear some requests today about broken hearts and about wounds that people

have from relationships.

God heals those kinds of things.

Verse four, he determines the number of the stars.

He gives to all of them their names.

So what that's telling us is that God knows the details and he is capable of handling

them.
