0:00.0	The So, Good morning. God morning to you. I had a cool moment yesterday that I couldn't wait to share with you and I really didn't know I knew it was amazing while it was happening but I didn't put two and two together until that evening when I got home yesterday.
0:46.8	So about a week ago, I reached out to a high school.
0:50.3	My daughter somehow is going to high school next year and so we're touring schools and there was a cool school that we came across and I reached out to the administrator just to ask some questions and to see if we could get a tour on the books.
1:05.0	And so I call, she picked up on the first ring, which was amazing, that doesn't usually

1:11.8	And we talked for a while about the school,
1:13.7	about its history, about the curriculum.
1:16.4	And then she was just like bragging
1:18.7	about how quiet it is, how it's so quiet
1:22.0	that the silence is so loud she often plays music in her office.
1:26.4	I could feel it turning in me and I'm like, don't be weird, Nicky, don't be weird.
1:31.1	And I was like, does your silence have a sound and she paused and she
1:36.7	said it does and so we talked about you know the potential of it being tonightis or something but how it's more likely this call from heaven you know this gift that you can use as an object of meditation like the gift you can use as an object of meditation,

1:56.8	that it's not a curse, that it's something beautiful.
1:59.1	And I said, maybe if you can reframe it,
2:01.6	if I can provide you with some materials, maybe a book, if you're interested.
2:06.1	And she said, I am very interested in what you're saying right now.
2:11.3	So I said, I'll see you next week and I'll bring a book with me. So next
2:15.7	week was yesterday and I brought that book that I've quoted from a lot. It's called, hold on I'm pulling it up. It's called the practice of Nada
2:26.7	Yoga by Baird Hersi and not knowing anything about her religious background, not knowing anything about her,
2:35.3	I just hoped that she would be open to a book that talked about all the different world religious traditions as they relate to the sound.
