Everyone loves a good story and a good storyteller.

0:11.0

But there is no storyteller like the Lord Jesus,

0:14.0

and there are no greater stories told than the ones Jesus shared.

0:18.0

In this study, spiritual stories, we consider the parables Jesus told and their

0:23.9

application to us. These are truly the greatest stories ever told, and the Lord has something

1:07.2

1:13.4

he gave the point right at the front.

1:16.5

If you look carefully at the scripture text,

1:18.9

either he said it or the context bears it out.

1:21.9

And today's parable is a classic example of that in Luke chapter number 18

1:26.3

because he gives the purpose statement

1:28.7

first. Luke 18 verse 1 and he spake a parable unto them to this end. Now hear that carefully to this

1:35.9

end. Let's go to the end and work our way back. What's the goal? What's the application that

1:41.1

men ought always to pray and not to faint.

1:46.8

That's a powerful verse.

1:48.1

Luke 18, verse 1.

1:50.1

Look, don't faint today.
