Okay, friends, before we dig in to 1st Peter chapter 1, verse number 3, I want to ask you to pray

with me for God's help as we understand His word.

Though God, today we have a difficult topic to understand, not because there's something fishy

about it or something untoward, but because it's a God-sized topic. Then we need your help.

We need you to help us open up our minds and illuminate our hearts, Lord, that we can grasp what

it is, you're saying to us. In Jesus' name, amen. Okay, friends, well,

you probably thought we were never going to get out of verses one and two. We are now moving on to

verse number three. As you can see, Peter's writing is so dense. It is so filled with truth.

Then we just need to take our time and process what he's saying to us. Now, here in 1 Peter chapter 1, verse 3, he begins a kind of blessing.

It's part of his greeting to the people that he's writing to.
