Hey everybody, welcome to girlfriends. I'm glad you're here for another week. I'm so glad

every time you join me here and happy to share this time with you week after week. I'm recording

this on Monday. I don't always record on Mondays, but so that makes this a very timely episode.

Just totally full weekend of here and there and everywhere in basketball and recovering

from what I think was a sinus infection, but I never took any antibiotics, but I think I'm

actually feeling pretty well thanks to saline rinses and getting some extra rest. So back at it

this week and glad to be here. How's your week going? I heard from a lot of you.

Let's start with the crock pots and instant pots because, wow, people love their instant pots.

I asked for feedback about instant pots last week and you haven't done anything to make me want

one less. So I'm going to continue to make my family crazy until Dan says, just buy the thing already.

You know what? And this is funny. I don't know how it works in your marriage. But in our marriage,

we always ask each other permission, sort of, you know, at least check in with each other.

If we're going to make a purchase, I don't know, there's not a dollar amount on it, but a

significant purchase of any kind. Sometimes I'll just go ahead and buy something and kind of let him know afterwards like, hey, thanks for this that you got me or whatever it is. But with us, I know if I just asked him, like, hey, is it okay with you if I just go ahead and buy this instant pot?

He would say, yes, and he would say it's totally fine.
