Joe, thanks for joining us today. It's my pleasure. I've waited, because I know you stalk me online. So I've waited a long time for this. And this is going to be fun.

Agreed. Agreed. So let's start off by telling the listeners a little bit about yourself and what you do.

Yeah. Thank you. So for 25 years, I worked for the FBI, mostly working counterintelligence.

So I was a spy catcher. And then 15 of those years I spent in this very small unit, this elite unit within the FBI called the behavioral program.

And that was created to take a look at spies and see how we can get into their heads and recruit them and, you know, negotiate with them.

And after I retired from the FBI, I started writing books and never intended for that to happen.
