as we should be. I'm guilty of that, and it's true for both men and women. I would think that

men probably don't do it as well as our wives. But over time, we can easily settle into that

routine or the rut, some might call it, a family life, managing the career, keeping busy with the

kids and even serving at church maybe. But somewhere along the way, the relationship with our

spouse starts to slide just a little bit.

And that's not a good thing.

Strong and healthy families are built upon strong and healthy marriages.

I think, you know, Gene and I've been married 38 years now.

And I'd say in the last few years, I've got a better appreciation for that.
