Only 72 pitches because he did have a double finally in that sixth inning and then he was going to face

Marikami and they were like you know what fine let's just be careful in this one-and-nothing

game but Bryce Miller is looking as good as I've ever seen him his four seamer has 20

inches of vert 97 miles per hour instead of like 95 and something around like 18 inches

of hurt I mean it's really crazy how good

this pitch is. Oh yeah, it also has extra cut now to make it more of a weapon against the

lefties if he can get inside. And then his slider is better. He's throwing that one harder at

88, 89 as opposed to 86 in change. And it hasn't lost any movement in the exchange as well. It's great. And those two pitches are really the main two right now for Miller, but it's mostly the four seamer. We saw a lot of lefties in this game against the White Sox. I am curious how it's going to look against righties, but he should be better against righties, and he might see that slider be more of an effective pitch

So he doesn't have to go four to one on four seamers two sliders he did have some cutters in there as well

I think savon mislabeled it as as two sliders but really did look like 90 91 mile per hour cutters with a little less drop than the other slider. That was more than the gyro. Kind with

extra sweep to, which is nice. The question I have is, does he have the command? That's always

been one of the two things that have been the problem with Miller. It was the secondaries before,

but we feel really good about the slider right now. So what about the command of all of it? And

it was better than usual. It was top half for four seamers, secondaries, generally in the bottom half. I want a little bit better. I won't say that Bryce Miller is an exceptional command guy, but we're looking good. Kumar Rocker in Cores had an opener and then when 7.2 winnings did not finish the game because it was 103 pitches even though it was a 10 to

nothing win it was kind of funny um he uh it has a 36 era this year which is crazy 19 whiffs

for a gallows pole no you i can't i can't buy into this from kumar rocker i love the fact that he's

leaned into sliders and cutters and yeah he threw more cutters with that slider yesterday, which is good.

That's what he should be doing.

But it's like an 82 mile per hour slider.

We don't want to touch Kumar Rocker.
