It's going to be a solo podcast of me breaking down the entire list on my own very quickly to get you the direct information as fast as possible. And we're going to have the regular episodes with Eric this week. This week will actually be recording on Wednesday. It might come out on Thursday instead of Friday. So look forward to that as we break down the weekend streamers. And of course, the pitchers for next week that we like matchup by matchup. But we got to talk about yesterday's games right now,

and we're going to be watching some of them on Saturday. At the commissioner, 3 p.m. It's in New York City pitcher list meetup that we do every single year. 3 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday. Park Slope, the commissioner bar, be there. We'll be there until like 7 p.m. or so. 3 to 7 p.m. April 11th, New York City pitcher list meetup. Come on by. It's such a fun time every year. We love to see you at the commissioner parks. So up. Foster Griffin won't be there, though. And Foster Griffin had himself a wonderful game against the Dodgers. Five innings, one and run, five hits, three walks, and six strikeouts, 95 pitches against the Dodgers.

And you're wondering, oh, no, is this another guy that I got not got to pick up off my wire?

He's going to be effective.

He had 12 whiffs.

This is a quality start kind of guy.

Well, not really.

He's 91.82 on his fastball, even that at 92.

And it's not really the kind of swatch that you want.

The Southpola the tight changeup, of course, because he doesn't really throw a standard change up much.

It's 30% strikes, 3 out of 10. And then he has a splitter that acts like a gyro slider with its movement.

Not really the whole makeup that I like.

The one thing I do like from Foster Griffin is the cutter that he does try to get inside

to right handers, but sometimes he leaves it over the middle to play to left handers like

he did to the time for a home run.

The whole thing is just not enough for me, and then you throw in the fact that I don't trust the Nationals offense or their defense or pretty much the whole scenario at the moment. I hope to believe that the Nationals have a better development system now. Because they certainly have made upgrades this past year. Still, I'm not at that point of calling it a positive or even a neutral. I'm still down on it. So Foster Griffin, I'd move on from. Slaes Saccone against the Cubs head of a surprising start. 16, zeroed runs, one hit, one walk, 6Ks, 14 whiffs. And it was a 40, sorry, a 87 mile per hour cutter. Not the 89 plus that we saw in the spring that got me really hyped. But he is throwing 29% of the time, which is good. And the best part was that he was throwing his four seamer, which had an extra inch avert at the top of the zone. I like the very, very top of the zone. High four seamers at 44% CSW. That's cool. So is he going to be able to do that every time?

Probably not.

Now, he gets at Atlanta next.

I don't really love it.

I don't think the sweeper in the curve or anything else.

It's really just that four seamer in the cutter off of it.

Eh, that's not really great for me.
