I'm going to go over the guys from yesterday, including Emerson Hancock, that you should be picking up on waivers and who you should be moving on from. And of course, I'm going to be reviewing all of today's games and tomorrow's games for those streamers you should be considering to pick up.

And who to avoid, really.

And I got to start with Emerson, Emerson Hancock.

Emerson Hancock was absolutely magnificent against the Guardians yesterday.

He went six innings, zeroed runs, zero hits.

One walk and nine strike gets 12 whiffs and he got the win.

I don't believe it, to put it very bluntly,

because Emerson Hancock has never had this kind of command before with this four seamer.

He usually is much better against right-handers.

This is a very left-handed heavy lineup.

And it's because his sinker is his best pitch, typically, 18 inches of horizontal ride

with two and a half inches of drop.

That is a legit sinker.

And no, this is a four seamer that all of a sudden had more vert than it usually does.

He nailed the top of the zone with it better than I've ever seen with him.

And it's a flat 1.3 height adjusted VAA, which is good. That is, that means essentially

if Emerson Hancock can always hit the top of the zone with that four seamer, it should have

success against lefties. He did throw it a ton, though. We're talking about 70, 60% usage.

And I don't think this is sustainable.

This is also against a lot of lefties.

I don't really know what his approach is going to look like against righties.

I don't think he's going to have the same kind of force him or command again.
